Metro Central Wastewater Treatment Plant

Project was an approximate $300 million upgrade to the existing facility that included capacity improvements and CSO reduction.

WA was in charge of providing aerial and terrestrial scanning, as well as traditional surveying.
WA provided site control, scanning, and BIM for all underground tunnel galleries and various above-ground features and buildings. An ALTA survey was completed for the entire 115-acre campus, including the establishment of datum-adjusted geodetic control.

First-order elevation networks, a full-site topographic survey including resolution of all boundary lines, terrestrial LiDAR scanning of all tunnel galleries, and creation of LOD 200 Revit Models for almost 1 mile of tunnel galleries with all process piping were also provided by WA.
