I-65 Bridge Over the Cumberland River

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is advancing the Interstate 65 Bridge Replacement over the Cumberland River in Nashville through a Progressive Design-Build (PDB) contract, designated as Project PD2401.

This initiative aims to replace the existing six-span continuous steel girder bridge, originally constructed in 1967, which currently has a sufficiency rating of 68.8 and is classified in poor condition.

WA provided pre-construction route surveying services in a record time of 25 days leveraging traditional surveying as well as terrestrial, aerial, mobile, and bathymetric lidar surveying.
