Virginia Route 460 Connector Phase I .
VDOT’s design-build contract for the Route 460 Connector Phase I in Buchanan County was awarded to Bizzack Construction, LLC., Lexington, Ky. in August 2009. Construction began spring 2011.
I-40 SmartFix 40 Phase I, II, III and IV .
This was the largest construction project in Tennessee’s history. The Knoxville project entailed roadway improvements to Hall of Fame Drive and I-40, including reconfiguration of James White Parkway, construction of new interchanges and exit ramps, and the widening of I-40 from four lanes to six lanes.
Gateway Bridge Nashville, TN .
The Rebuild U.S. 27 project will widen a 1.62-mile route from 2 to 3 lanes in each direction, construct ramp acceleration and deceleration lanes at interchanges and construct 6 bridges and 30 retaining walls.
